The Building Owners and Managers Association has comprehensive building measuring standards for office buildings, industrial buildings, and other places of lease that coincides with the six major areas of building operations and practices. DDS is able to provide and illustrate, per floor plan, the gross square footage of a building as compared to the useable square footage and rentable square footage available for tenants that follows the ANSI standard methods. Once a building is fully scanned and registered, then CAD floor plans can be developed for BOMA calculations based on useable and rentable spaces and square footages.
