DDS can apply spatial analysis to the scale of a building using 3D laser scanning to develop plans, sections, and diagrams showing how spaces are used. The analysis could be as simple as the square footages of all the spaces including the volume, or as complex as the volume of people per space in relation to the rest of the building, including density, travel patterns, and egress. In some cases, studies can be done to understand how to optimize the use of the space for more efficiency.
