Scope of Work: Deep Design Studio was hired to perform high definition 3D laser scanning of the atrium and balcony areas as well as the mezzanine areas and hallways. The scans had to be in color to better represent the existing conditions of the material and lighting of the space. After the scans were registered, the Deep Design Studio team accurately 3D modeled all the main architectural elements, including all the decorative ornamentation, so the architectural firm could perform lighting studies and design work with a model that reflected a high level of documentation depicting the existing conditions.

Deliverable: Berglund Construction and Goettsch Partners received the final as-built model at a 300 LOD that included a detailed representation of the coffered ceiling and accurate representation of Corinthian columns. In addition to the model, DDS also provided all the registered colored scans as part of the final deliverable package.
